English Club

What is it?
An informal club that meets weekly for students to practise the English language and study skills needed to succeed at university, including grammar, writing, reading, speaking and listening. The group improves their skills whilst taking part in fun group activities.

How does it work?
Students meet most weeks during term time from the autumn till spring.
Students take part in enjoyable activities based on practising language and academic skills.
The Club is led by an experienced Study Skills Tutor.

Who is it for?
Students of all skills levels who want to improve their English language and study skills in a relaxed and friendly environment.

What are the benefits?
Develop or polish English language and practical academic skills.
Gain confidence by interacting with fellow students.
